The molten alloy is poured into a sand bed to cool, then broken into blocks, and then crushed, ground and winnowed to the required size range in two steps. It is suitable for dense media in the separation process of dense media in the mining industry. 2. Milled ferrosilicon 15% for dense medium separation and slurry density application of sinking and floating process. Powdered ferrosilicon is an accepted medium for the gravity separation of minerals, aggregates and metals with a specific gravity of approximately 2.0 to 4.0.
